Tony Nicholas Clark is a writer from the Greater Philadelphia Area. His work spans across Poetry, Fiction, and Memoir. In 2016, he was the keynote poet for the ‘Wordsmiths’ Reading Series’ Event at Bucks County Community College, honoring renowned poet Richard Blanco, who was the inaugural poet at President Obama’s second inauguration. Tony’s work is centered upon themes of spirituality, LGBTQIA , interpersonal relationships, trauma, and mental health. He revels in Soul & Lo-Fi music (and its various subsets), roadtrips and books. Tony earned his M.A in English (w/Creative Writing Concentration) and M.F.A in Creative Writing (w/Non-Fiction Concentration) from Monmouth University in 2022, and 2023. In the Summer of 2022, Tony was a Student Fellow at the Chautauqua Writers’ Institution. Tony is a member of Sigma Tau Delta. Tony was a Summer 2024 Writing Fellow at the Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. He is also a Summer 2024 Fellow for the Hurston/Wright Foundation’s Virtual Writers Week.
